Unusual traffic on the 405 freeway this week… I drank almost a whole scoop of energy boost. I wasn’t shaky, restless or anything (like I did the first time I took a whole scoop) but I didn’t feel any significant burst of energy. I didn’t eat any lunch eithet. Instead, I had a very light dinner of sinigang with a ‘little bit’ of rice. Then took a forty-five minute nap before heading to the gym. I was laying on my tummy and it 😍felt so good!!!😝
      Made it to the gym around 7:17pm. He got me started with 150 arm lifts. Then I did 250 stripper squats which made my legs feel like hell when it was time for me to do 150 leg steps.
       After the gym, I went to get my gas then I was craving for some edamame. I didn’t really want to make a run to Ralphs but I did. I ended up buying some basics along with my edamame. (see below)

Thank goodness I didnt make any hasty decisions buying useless things…I am actually starting to stick to the basics. ;)kudos to me!

Kimuya Saturday (8.23.14) as planned with friends but pretty much everyone flaked except the three of us.

I was debating whether or not I should go to the gym this morning then take my car for a check up, but I ended up doing none of them.I ended up watching Secret Affair and Autumn Concerto, both Korean dramas. 😍 sooo taken away by the stories. Secret Affair was kinda twisted & Autumn Concerto is quite similar to the meteor garden. How are they similar? Well, bad boy 👦 meets poor girl 👧 and falls in love 😍! Each episode takes about an hour! So imagine how many hours I wasted! (didn’t even get to play Tales of Xillla like I planned to!) 😭

At the gym:
Caught the boys watching x-files the movie.

Boy, those two were my favorites since I was a kid!

All four of us were watching the movie so I did my exercises in the same room. I did 250 stripper squats, 150 up/down weights and 150 backward leg raises.

Man I remember last week I did 250 stripper squats and I was sore for two to three days (including the weekend!) bending and taking the stairs was a pain last week😵😭… But I finally got to recover 😁

I dont know what was wrong with me today. I didn’t drink or eat anything until late afternoon. I only had two cobs of 🌽 and four slices of bread with this spread. It was fine. I decided to eat these instead of eating a German sausage. I knew eating the sausage will make me eat rice and eventually I wil feel like shit eating it.

I was so lazy to get up, but as usual, I knew I had to get up and go to the gym. It’s been a habit that I always have to do now…or else I won’t feel normal.

We were watching 2nd half of x-files the movie. YUP! Two days of Scully, Moulder and Aliens!!!

I did 150 leg press each leg and 150 up-down arm weights  and 150 forward/backward arm weights. (im 🙏 I dont know the name of the machines!)

Probably my fourth week at the gym.

I started my day with my energy boost which starts to kick in few minutes before my shift begins. It gives me a lot of energy!!! 😘😂😚😜😄  it keeps my spirit up which in turn keeps everyone’s spirits up.It makes me hyper, perky and fun & somehow brings up/lightens everyone’s mood!!!

I didn’t eat lunch…I just wanted to make sure everything that needs to be done is done & all my people are okay.

So by the the end of my shift, I was just feeling hungry and 😴.

I had pho for dinner. Of course! I didnt finish the whole thing. I only ate what I can without overeating (i’m surprised) I didnt finish my pho and even left the last piece of calamari!

At the gym, I didnt know what my trainer was gonna make me do (as usual). But today I surprised myself when I got to do 50 sit-ups without resting and 200 leg raises. on my first set, I got to do 20 straight leg raise without stopping. I noticed my upper body got 💪er. The last one was easy for me…250 ab crunches. I also feel less sore compared to before. I feel  a lot more tougher.

I remember before, I couldn’t even do one leg raise and five situps without getting tired.

A lot has changed in me in four weeks of going to this gym.

Before, the gym used to be an intimidating place for me…I was always one of those people who always ended up using the treadmill because I didnt know how to use the other machines or which ones to use, etc.

Now it’s my spot to relax and relieve my stress and see what my body can do and just listen to music.

In a short period of time I would say, I have come a long way. 😘😂im so prOud of me!

Second, third day of workout

Second workout: arms

Free weight where I have to criss-cross my arms. It was easy at first but after 25reps/10sets I was suffering!!! Second workout last Tuesday was using the dumbbells where I had it squat or sit and raise my arms up sideways …I had a hard time keeping my form and at times my arms begin to shrivel like a chicken wing. Then Ramin comes back and corrects me.

Dinner: loco moco, 3 pieces of chicken Katsu and water (yes!!!im drinking water now!)

Third workout: I was really bummed today since no one can work for me on the 17th that I was craving for my comfort food. But we ended up waiting long so…I had ten minutes to eat so I could make it to my gym. I can’t believe I’m doing my best.

Oliver did the machine where you’re basically floating your legs up in the air and only holding onto the bar…I couldn’t do it because I have a weak upper body so he let me rest my legs and lift each leg high for 25reps/10 repetitions. But talking with Nancy O. a.k.a jalapeño and Ramin helped a lot. I’m really liking this place. So chill! I don’t have to think about what to do each day all I have is come in and let my body workout and perform. Second workout today was for the abs 25/10. It was hell at first but then I started using my iPod. I was listening to Music and Poseidon was playing on the tv.
